Although I hate the term and don’t own a tiara, my colleagues call me the “Queen of Affiliate Marketing“. 🙂 In the industry since 1998, a trade magazine pegs me as the most experienced female affiliate marketer. (Watch this video to see my affiliate earnings in real-time.)
Over the years, thousands of ‘regular, non-technical folks’ (just like you — and me) have learned how to start and run their own successful affiliate marketing businesses using the methods I teach in the Super Affiliate Handbook (and as an industry expert speaker, magazine columnist, and consultant) and YOU can learn them too!
From blog installation, to design, content creation and all methods of marketing – I STILL do it all. (Note: Many other affiliate training packages use MY affiliate sites as examples without my permission. That’s because those so-called ‘trainers’ don’t have affiliate sites. They pretend to be working affiliates to take your money, but they don’t have any real experience.)
So, if you’re tired of bogus claims and hype and want to learn how affiliate marketing really works, keep reading…
In a nutshell, affiliate marketing is an arrangement between an online merchant and affiliate (you), in which the affiliate earns a commission for generating sales, leads and/or clicks for the merchant’s web site.
For example, many credit card companies will pay you between $5 and $20 in commission for each visitor that you send to their site who completes a credit card application, and up to $55 for those whose applications are approved.
That’s a great commission, and although many companies pay less, there are also many companies that pay much MORE!
How much you will earn depends in part on the products you choose to sell, and in the Super Affiliate Handbook I show you exactly how to find the best companies and products to promote.
According to one report, total sales generated through affiliate networks in 2006 was ?2.16 billion in the UK alone. MarketingSherpa’s research team estimated that, in 2006, affiliates worldwide earned $6.5 billion in bounty and commissions from a variety of sources in retail, personal finance, gaming and gambling, travel, telecom, education, publishing and forms of lead generation other than contextual ad networks such as Google AdSense.
An entire industry has grown around online affiliate marketing since the mid-1990’s and it is getting bigger all the time.
Conventions are regularly held and attended by thousands of people and there’s even an offline magazine devoted entirely to the subject of affiliate marketing.
Entire affiliate networks such as Commission Junction, Linkshare and Double Click Performics exist for the purpose of bringing merchants and affiliates together.
Basically, any company trying to do business on the web WITHOUT an affiliate program nowadays is dead in the water – and they all need affiliates to promote their products! Here are some of the BIG brand-name companies that use affiliate programs to promote their products online:
Best of all, TENS of THOUSANDS of affiliates make money every day and THOUSANDS of people have quit their boring day jobs to become full-time affiliate marketers – many of whom earn MILLIONS of dollars a year.
You don’t need an MBA to do business on the web. I should know. I had ZERO business experience when I started out. Nothing… nada.
All I had was the desire to become my own boss, and HUGE motivation to make some good money to make up for the retirement plan I would have to give up when I finally quit my job.
For 20 years before starting my Internet business, I worked for the government, as an air traffic controller. I knew I wasn’t going to make it to retirement in that occupation. The crazy shifts were making me sick, so I had to do something to secure my future so that I could quit before the job killed me.
Fortunately, right around the time I fell ill, I got connected to the ‘Net. I’m no genius, but it didn’t take long before I saw the potential for a fun and lucrative home-based business using the ‘Net.
I was right. Two years after I started to ‘play’ with web sites, I quit my job as an air traffic controller. Only two years – and that was without any specialized affiliate marketing training!
Note: By following the training program in the Super Affiliate Handbook, many of my students have quit their nasty old day jobs in much less time! I’m ready to start now!
Our average conversion rate is only about 1-1.5%, but you have reached as high as 6% with your prospects! In fact, I’m very curious about how you do that…
I DO what I teach, and I excel as an affiliate marketer. Since I quit my day job as an air traffic controller in 2000, I’ve earned 100% of my income online. In 2002, I earned a whopping $436,797 US in affiliate commissions (then worth $657,801 CDN). Now, I earn much more than that as an affiliate!
NOTE: Although the title of the Handbook specifies the amount that I made in 2002. I simply state 500,000 + (PLUS) in the headline above… because as soon as I say more than 500K, I get a deluge of marriage proposals. 🙂
My affiliate sites are so lucrative, they’ve been written about in venues such as ‘Secrets to Their Success‘, ‘Small Business Opportunities‘ and ‘Revenue‘ magazines.
After being profiled in Revenue Magazine, (the only magazine for the affiliate marketing industry), I was invited to write their “Affiliate’s Corner” column.
Using a step-by-step plan to business-building, the ‘Super Affiliate Handbook’ answers all of the questions you will have and many, many more. Here are some examples of what you will learn:
Although other affiliate training manuals have some strong points (and I do recommend one as a companion to the Super… Read more…
